Expedition Co-leader, Bill Steele, visits Whole Earth on his way home from the 2016 PESH expedition of Sistema Huautla, nestled in the lush scenery of Oaxaca, Mexico. With goals such as reaching 100km in length and reaching 1610m in depth, The PESH (Proyecto Espeleologico Sistema Huautla) Project is a 10 year plan, with 1 expedition per year to explore, survey, and conduct a comprehensive speleological study of the Sistema Huautla area caves.
